PROBABLE Prediction 2045.1 [PENDING]

Prediction:

The U.S. will break up within 50 years

Objective measurement:

Individual states or blocks of same will no longer obey Federal regulations nor send Federal taxes to Washington.

When:

by January 1st, 2045

Why:

History has shown that _every_ large country/empire has eventually brokenup into smaller states, without exception (occasionally, those states later form a country with a similar name, but I digrebss). Over the last two decades, the U.S. has been showing more and more signs of regionalism rebeling against nationalism.

I would be very surprised if the breakup did _not_ occur within 50 years, but only mildly suprised if it occured within twenty.
