PROBABLE Prediction 1999.6

Prediction:

Russia will lead a multi-nation army to invade Israel, at which time Jesus Christ will return and as Zech 14:4 says when his feet touch the Mt. of Olives, it will split in two in an earthquake felt all around the world before the year 2000.

Objective measurement:

Declaration of war (or some other military action in which the clear objective is the defeat of the Israeli army) by the Russian government, but in which at least 1% of the invading forces are of non-Russian citizenship.

Why:

Ezek 38 and 39 describe the army led by the "Chief Prince" ("Rosh" in the original hebrew for Chief Prince is the oldes known word for what we now know as Russia. There is reference to Tubol and Meschech which can be related to Moscow and the Tubolinski valley. The Merchants of Tarshish and young lions there of who are to challenge the invasion are Great Britain and her related countries including Canada, Australia and the USA. The fact that they only offer a challange and do not try to stop the invasion indicates that they are to be in isolation at the time. Zech 14 tells of the invasion of Israel which will cover the whole land with half of Jerusalem going into captivity. Those of the Jews in the land to survive the invasion will be in the Holy City half of Jerusalem which is not captured dudring the initial invasion. Zech 14:4 says that then the Lord shall fight as he fought in the day of battle and when his feet touch the Mt. of Olives, it is to split in two, also that the land from Gibba to Rimmon is to become a level plain which is about a 40 mile distance on top of a mountain range in Israel. There have been several articles in the National Geographic Magazine about the 40,000 natural earthquake fault that rambles around the world It is also under the Mt of Olives. Acts 1:11 says that Christ is to return in the same way. He was standing on the Mt of Olives and is to return to once again stand on it.

The United States and British Empire countries will go into isolation an only offer a challenge regarding taking spoil. Perhaps the format will be simular to that of desert storm, with Russia leading a multi-national force to remove Israel from what the Arabs consider occupied land, it is to happen as a thief in the night, but some of the events leading up to it will be plain to those looking for them. The world is on the edge of a world wide depression greater than what happened in the 1930's. This will set the stage. Actually, the USA is having leanings towards isolation right now.

The USA ambassador to the UN has been quoted speaking to a Peace Corp volunteer group that the USA is going into Isolation further than it has been in over 70 years. Remember it took Pearl Harbor to get the USA into WWII. The major countries of the world are all having economic problems. The USA is on the verge of bankruptcy and is now dependent on other countries to buy its Treasury Bills to keep it going. The nation of Israel is now making peace with the Arabs, or at least what passes for peace as Ezek 38 says that they will be dwelling in peace and safty without bars or gates (let their guard down). The Mt Olivet prophecy (Matt 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13) says that Jerusalem to be trodden down of the Gentiles until times of Gentiles fulfilled. In 1967 Israel regained Jerusalem, no longer trodden down of the Gentiles. In general, that generation seeing the events of the Mt Olivet prophecy not to pass away till all be fulfilled. The Exodus under Moses, a generation perished in the wilderness during the 40 year wanderings. 1967 + 40 = 2007 as the very latest likely date for fulfillment.
