Prediction:
The US government will turn into a "Big Brother" society.
Objective measurement:
US police forces will have the power to detain without trial, and will have used those powers in more than 50 cases.

Why:
By looking at the turn of events of modern society, I came to this conclusion. I don't think I need to further explain myself.
